Dora stared at the screen that had just suddenly gone black. "What happened?" She murmured. Then she pales as she remembered what could cause technology to stop.
Dora shot out of her room, looking around. "Where's Aragon?!" She demanded of the nearest servant.
The servant looked startled for a moment. "I...don't know M'Lady."
Dora frowned deeply. "Find everything with electricity. Tell me if you find anything that works and I want to be informed if my brother is found." She said and dashed down the hallway, checking where her brother usually sulked. Did he get it again? Did he find the item to freeze time for our realm. Damnit! I asked her to watch it! He couldn't have gotten it again! She thought.
"Aragon!" Dora yelled as she reached the enterance hall, looking around for him. But if time isn't frozen why did the power stop? Why did it die? She wondered and continued her search.
"Aragon!" Dora hissed as she found him in the courtyard. "What have you done?!" She demanded, her eyes reptilian now.
Aragon raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about? I have done nothing."
"Don't lie to me!" Dora snapped, her hands becoming claws.
"Are you mad? I don't even know what you are talking about. How could I have done anything?" Aragon demanded.
"You're the one who fro-" Dora started before a servant's call interupted her.
"M'Lady! The hawk has come and left a message from her!" They called as they rushed towards them, holding out a parchment.
Dora looked at the paper and opened it.
'It's called a power outtage. It's normal. Now calm down before you loose complete control if you haven't already. The power will be back in a while.'
Dora stared at the message as the dragon like features vanished. "Oh. Never mind then." She said and then turned and left.
Aragon stared after her and scowled. "She's going insane." He muttered.
"She's not used to the pressure yet." The servant said, looking after Dora with concerned.
"Of course she isn't. She's never had to rule." Aragon said.
"Well, you have to admit M'Lord, she is nicer." The servant said. "Most of the servants and villagers were surprised the All Hollow's Ever celebration was as fun and peaceful as it was with you in charge."
"You really shouldn't insult your betters." Aragon said, glaring at the servant.
"It wasn't an insult. It was an observation, M'Lord." The servant said.
Aragon continued to glare.
"Um...I'm going to go back to the library now. I have books to organize." The servant said and ran off.
Aragon stared after the servant for a moment before he smirked. "They have become less wary. Then it's merely a matter of time." He said to himself in a hushed tone before he continued on his way.
