Relaunch or "Yeah, I'm getting the band back together, man."

So I'm relaunching the journal with a new and improved username and, very possibly, content written in this ambiguously named decade. I've removed the gunk from my Selectric ball with denatured alcohol and I'm ready to start splattering the internets with my, uh, profound insights. Welcome back. But I'm not going to get my hopes up, since you have this habit to be really active for a week or two, and then disappear for a few months.

LJ is dying in some quarters, but not in others. Apparently the Russian side of things does well.

I don't even think most cities have "space saving architects" for interior design. How chic!

You'll have to post pictures when everything is set up and it feels like home.

Happy anniversary! 24 years is a long time (and, uh, longer than I've been alive). But the fact that you're only 43 and have been with someone for 56% of your life is pretty impressive.

Time flies and kids grow up fast.

I was 17 when I graduated high school. It's pretty easy to do if you have a summer birthday.

Still trying to figure it out at 43 just didn't seem like a possibility back when we were 18, did it?

Ron and I both drifted into things at which we've been successful, but which haven't been completely fulfilling.

Welcome back!

Given that I'm 33 and still not sure what I want to do with my life (I'm thinking about a career change in the next few months or so, but don't know if I really want to do that and shake everything up), knowing that I could still be confused ten years from now--well, I'm not sure if that's encouraging or not.
