Hi there! I’m your Roar Reader this week. Wow, your story is a truthful exploration of the landscape of the mind whenAlzheimer is there. It captures that blurred serenity perfectly. And, well I’m not mother tongue so it’s difficult for me to say, but I think that your writing is excellent. I particularly enjoyed the passage starting with * He would give her a laugh as he walked up,…* It reminds me of Joyce’s stream of consciousness. DDD Thank you very much for an awesome and thought provoking reading. :) Tina
You mean English isn't your native language? Wow, I wouldn't have known! ^_^ Thanks for reading! And that passage you enjoyed is actually my favorite, so I'm glad you liked it. The stream-of-conscious feel is what I was going for. :D
Sorry, it took me a while to answer (RL has been crazy). Yes, I’m Italian and have to say that not to be mother tongue sucks DDD I’d love playing more often in the monthly contest, but I need an extra amount of spare time to write down a piece *arrgghhh* Well, luckily, reading good entries like yours and giving my little roar contribution is satisfying enough. :-) Ciao! Tina
