JR EWING supposedly is a (post)hardcore band from Norway. I couldn't really attach that genre to their music, perhaps to their singer, but ironically that was the main flaw in their set. Their singer isn't that bad, it's just like he isn't ( Read more... )

JR Ewing have gone downhill of late. At ATP they could have played their old material which is very sharp and aggressive. Now they are dull middle-of-the-road pop-screamo prog. It's upsetting. Glad you enjoyed Coheed amigo!

way to make a guy feel stupid for selling his coheed ticket!
i would love to see them again, the only downside now is there are that many kids at the shows who apparently know everything about everything music! in other words bell-ends. i'm definitely going to catch them again at some point, i need to see their new stuff played live.
i've not checked out JR EWING, i don't think i'll bother now either.

Schmoo: you're right about JR Ewing. Some old songs sounded alright, new stuff is no stuff.

Steve: Hate to say I told you so! :P Ah well, they seem like the kind of band that will be around for some time.
