So, everyone's been telling me all these horror stories about how hard it is to get personal leave for a year. I showed up at the deans office, and waited nervously to debate and petition to get my year off. The conversation went "So, I'd like to take a year of personal leave. . ." "Sounds like a good idea, I'll go get you that form." ". . . oh!
