This is the nexus of topics that I could talk about all day and all night.

My mom is not cis-gendered, and... I am sorta realizing that right now in real-time!
I got a huge education from her when I was growing up because I saw the way she was treated for being being "feminine-enough".. and not really interested in femininity, really at all. She's a cowboy, damnit!

And not just unreal or fantastical... but actually quite GROSS.

'the gimmick is that you are an individual living at a pivotal point in human history, and you explore a vast map influencing events in a way that will lead to a better outcome in the future. You do so by single-handedly murdering thousands of people.'

Yep, that's Assasin's Creed in a nutshell! I played AC2 (renaissance era Italy), AC4 (pirate era Caribbean) and AC Syndicate (Victorian era London) and enjoyed them all. But it always felt like a huge stretch to try to make you out to be the good guy while murdering hundreds of guards who are just trying to earn a living.
