I'd say this was just an update but aside from the baby there isn't much to say. Work's good, Jake's good but nothing Earth-shatteringly new ( Read more... )

We're doing crock pot dinner tonight too! Venison roast.

Glad your pregnancy has gotten better, see how tired Beth was all the did nothing to make me want to have my own kids, but another good friend of mine had a great pregnancy up until the last 2 weeks (which were horrible and she almost lost the baby, which is an all new worry) so that encouraging. I think being pregnant and off meds is my biggest worry about having kids at this point. I think I could handle the kids themselves, just not sure I could make it through being pregnant. I'm too wussy for that.

I think anyone who says they aren't exhausted the first few months is either crazy or lying but aside for that I've felt good. I'm sure there will be some aches and pains to come though. As for you, what did you decide about Remicaid? Amy's staying on it while she's pregnant with her little man. Thus far its gone well for them. She's actually part of a study on remicaid and fertility/pregnancy. Or you could adopt. Skip the whole pregnancy shin-dig.

Every pregnancy is different, sometimes even in the same woman. My experience shouldn't dictate your choices.

The fatigue thing in particular was already a problem. I have fought severe fatigue for my entire adult life, something my doc now links to my anxiety disorder. I was never the person to bound around full of energy, and if for some reason I did bound, I ended up paying for it hard. There were stints in college where I was sleeping for 12 hours a day, sometimes as high as 16 hours. I never expected it to get better during pregnancy. It probably would have been better had I not eaten like crap and actually excercised. There was a lot I could have done to make it easier on myself, but it didn't matter to me that much at the time. If I had known I was going to be a role-model, though, I might have tried harder.
