I love hearing updates from you! I'm glad things are going so well for you guys!! Tell me more about being a doctor. You're still a resident or something and looking for a "real" job? That sounds bad, but I'm not sure how else to word it. Have you ever thought of re-locating to Omaha? It's a nice city with a great Children's Hospital! =)
Yep, I'm a third year resident looking for a "real" job ;) I'll finish residency at the end of Aug 09. I actually interviewed in Omaha for residency. Our family is all here though so we're not really up for relocating! We are planning a day trip to Omaha sometime soon though...Asher loves the zoo so we thought he'd enjoying the Omaha zoo. I'm a sucker for the penguins.
The Omaha zoo is great. Have you been there before?
I don't know how big of news this is-- it might just be a local thing-- but did you hear that one of the gorillas was killed yesterday or the day before? They were reuniting a male and his family after he'd been kept apart for breeding purposes. He hit his 3 year old daughter, and she fell about 8 feet and landed on the back of her head. She died of massive brain damage. The most interesting part? They called 911 and rushed her to the University of NE Med Center via ambulance. She was pronounced dead there. Have YOU ever worked on a gorilla? I'm telling ya-- Omaha could be a great place to live!! LOL!

Is it hard working in the NICU? I think it would be so sad. Praying that you find a job and one that is close to family!
Jake sounds like a fantastic dad and husband! I'm so happy for you Amy!
