so, after my car was towed to the auto place, they discovered that my thermostat was broken, so it wasn't registering how hot is was and therefore not opening the coolant valves and activating the system. great. so they replaced the thermostat, and among other problems, found out that my coolant fans were broken, which would have cost another 600

Sorry about "Satan," but at least on the bright side, you'll have a better car! CONGRATS! It's such a great feeling to drive something near-flawless after driving something not-so-great! Trust me, I know the feeling! :)
