Around the corner from one of my clients (in Kirkwood) is a dog who looks very neglected. It seems she is basically used to breed puppies. The last batch of puppies is long gone, yet her nipples are still completely engorged and hanging low, which leads me to believe they are infected. She is very undernourished & her fur is matted....poor thing

You can't call Animal Control and report a case of cruelty/neglect?

That's horrible. I think my poor Khodi went through somewhat of the same thing - the first time I saw her at the pound, her nipples were hanging low, the sight of which was exascerbated by the fact that she had lost significant chunks of hair and was about 30 pounds underweight. How people can be so completely negligent towards their animals, I'll never understand.
