Bella went to the vet's today for her first surgery. She was going to get all the necessary work done in one fell swoop, but the vet decided that, given her heartworms and bad skin condition, it's best not to push her too hard too quickly

Skip and I are discussing maybe becoming foster parents for pets looking for a home. Not until we get back from NYC. Maybe not as long as we have cantankerous, pitiful, sweet old Grover - then again, maybe he'd learn a little tolerance?
We've got to get a dog someday.
And a couple of guinea pigs, and parakeets, and a wall full of habitrail with a couple of gerbils....
