I was never in the service, although I wish from time to time that I had joined. Almost without fail, the young vets we hire have an aura of politeness and respect that I really admire. We have a young guy who's 23, already in and out of Iraq, and he is one of the best workers we have - always ready to tackle any new challenge we give him. Whether it's answering phones, washing vans, or doing "real radio stuff", he never complains and does each job the best he can. With a little experience, I see management in his future.
