Update on Daddy

~10 pm Thursday.

Home, finally. He was transferred to the cath unit at Glendale Adventist, 45 minutes away w/o traffic. Los Robles is eliteist; because they are out in a wealthy area and are the only cath unit in reasonable distance, they won't contract with smaller insurance companies and charge the bigger ones whatever they like. :: offers hugs :( :: At least you're getting immediate details and stuff. That's awesome. I wasn't living with my dad when he had his heart trouble, and so I was always hanging on word from his new wife.

This is scary shit, I know. But doctors at least know what they're doing. That helped me quite a bit, knowing that doctors do this kind of stuff all the time.

:: sends lots of good vibes your dad's way! ::

Thanks. The doctors have indeed been very informative, knowledgeable, and friendly, and that's reassuring.

Thank you. I'll be in Glendale tomorrow, and quite possibly Saturday. Will you or Nate be around?

I won't, unfortunately, and he has a bachelor party that starts Friday night (which is why I won't be around), but he may be around during the day.

Do you have his number? He makes an excellent shoulder to cry on if your burly man's burly man-shoulder is at work.

I'm also free, I shit you not, all day tomorrow and all weekend long. If you need anything, please call or text me or whatever. I don't mind driving, and I have a fairly comfy shoulder myself. ;)

If everything goes well tomorrow, I was planning a fabric district trip Saturday. Time flexible. Thoughts?

My Dad has 2 Stents, so I know what you're going through... RElly simple procedure. Scary still, but very simple. Thinking of you and your family hun. Much Love! PS- Robert's Fabrics on 9th (I think) has a very nice quality of Linen for very good prices.
