Apparently I need to find a way to look older. I had to pull out both a BMC ID and a drivers license to convince our fine Public Safety department I am not a student -- although I have been fixing thier systems for months.

Although really, in that case it makes me wonder that they would let a student touch their secure systems with no ID check.

It was...but they still wouldn't believe how old I was. The dispatcher swears I'm 18.

I get the you look younger thing all the time. The swimmers on my team think I am in college with one of the other coaches. He's 19, I'm 29. And I got carded at the supermarket the other day (there was beer in the collection of purchases). I think people just don't know what approaching 30 actually looks like. I mean, I don't look old, but I don't look like a college freshman either! And neither do you. We look wiser. Or something. ;-)
