BTW - etsy.com is a great place for Steampunk stuff. E-bay is a treasure trove for all things Brass. The Medley brothers (Nemo and Robur) are amazing at building things. Steamfashion http://community.livejournal.com/steamfashion/ on LJ is a great place to get ideas and buy stuff. And visit your local conventions - I picked up a couple of books, a shirt, and Michaela at the last one I went to.
