"The haul"

I spent a lot of time shopping in Japan.  I'm still jetlagging and words are hard when I can't brain, so here's a photo post documenting my shopping problems awesome stuff.

Between going nuts on claw games and all the sifting through 2nd hand merchandise stores, I got quite the stash of toys and figures.  Even still, I would have bought a lot more ( Read more... )

I wish I were smaller and less curvy as some of the lolita stuff looks great and super adorable!

I'm actually kind of surprised by the number of dresses that have shirring panels now. Very few brands seem to still exclusively make clothes in a single size anymore.

Hnnggg... just confirming my need to incorporate a trip to Tokyo into my honeymoon plans (from the US, want to visit Australia). I'm just going to pack like, 2 outfits for the main trip, then stuff my suitcase full of brand on the way home...

That's pretty much what I did. The rest of my group laughed at me when I said it, but when it came down to stuffing our suitcases to bursting in the last days, I came out victorious. It didn't take many days of shopping to fill it up. My lolita shopping buddy actually threw out a sweater she brought with her. It was fraying in several places and on it's last leg going into the trip and let's just say she had much better use for the space than keeping her dying sweater on life support any longer.

If your partner's not much of a shopper, convince them to bring a large suitcase regardless (so you can overflow into it). I overflowed quite a bit into my boyfriend's suitcase and even still, both of our bags were overweight. X3

Have fun on your honeymoon! I'm hoping to get to Australia within the next couple of years. I love the unique animals there. =D

Yeah my fiance's not overly thrilled about either australia or japan, I can't imagine why. I figure'd he love to go to australia and see all the tropical fish (he raises fish as a hobby) and we could take a trip to Akihabara and he could get his nerd on with electronics. Oh well, it's not going to be for a while yet (I'm really lazy about planning the wedding.) so he has plenty of time to get himself excited.

How can he not be excited for Australia? It's such an exciting and extremely different country. =X ( ... )

Either that or tanuki's. We never quite figured it out, but they were adorable, so I had to get a couple. =3

My shopping is like nothing compared to yours. LOOOOOOOL

On a side note, two of my friends got the same book bag. XD

That bag was EVERYWHERE, but in a good way. If I had space, I would have bought it in multiple colours, but that's probably a bit excessive, even for me. XD

Did you at least fill whatever space was in your suitcase? So much awesome stuff. *_*

I know! I didn't think it was so popular. XDDD

Sadly, I didn't bring as big of a luggage since I only have a carry-on. So I pretty much half filled my carry-on with stuff along with another small bag. ;;

Thanks. I was surprised by how heavy it was. It really doesn't look it though.
