I like the idea of Reid holding Luke's hand while he is still asleep in the recovery area.

Surgery is weird...you are so scared, and then they give you meds to relax you before they take you back. Then they give you the anesthesia, and you are out. The next thing you know, you are awake, and it only seemed like a few minutes, even if it was hours.

Meanwhile, your poor loved ones are in the waiting room biting their nails and worrying up a storm. It goes by fast for the person under anesthesia, but it is endless to the people in the waiting room.

I suspect it to be even harder if you are a surgeon yourself and know all the risks.

I do assume it helps waking up with a familiar face holding your hand. :-)

I love the way you put them in these little situations and the banter between them, and of course Reid's concern a love for his boyfriend, such a wonderful and protective boyfriend. Luke, happy but still trying to convince his family how good Reid is for him and why Luke loves him so much.

He went to the recovery to hold Luke his hand until he woke up. - *Big FAT Sigh*

Luke hid under the bedspread. - So darn cute!
