Oh my August. When did that happen?!?? It has officially been over a year since I had a period. In just about 10 days it'll be a year since little Sir was a cluster of cells splitting away. So crazy.

He's sleeping on my lap now. Being so big. He'll be 4 months old two weeks from today. 4 months already. That was my original breastfeeding goal. I ( Read more... )

Our old house was awesome layout. 925sq ft felt spacious even with 5 people. Loved it! This house is bigger but not laid out well and feel spacious but awkward.

Confession: I never dump poop unless it is solid enough to easily do so. Works fine. When our laundry was in the bathroom, I would swish and dump all of them since diaper pail was 3'from toilet. Now I'm too lazy.

Exactly. The layout is more important than the sqftage. About 800sqft of our 1300 is living room, dining room, kitchen. Which is great! We spend most of the time out here. But the bedrooms are a joke. Maxron's room is tiny. 8'x5'. How does that even qualify as a room?? The other bedroom is slightly bigger, around 10x11. Our bedroom is plenty big, but the master bath is weird and small. And my biggest complaint is closets. I have the toniest closets in the world. With the tiniest doors. I can only reach things on the top if I turn sideways, push my boobs down and get IN the closet or pantry. When I was pregnant the closets were useless.

So one more kid and we'll be bursting at the closet seams for sure. And a regular bed really won't fit in one of our "bed"rooms...

I really, really miss EBF poop diapers. They didn't smell, and I could just throw them in the washer, poop and all.

I suggest investing in a diaper sprayer (got mine for $30, and it only took 5 minutes to install). I don't think I would cloth diaper without one. Camden still has disgusting, massive, runny peanut butter consistency poops, so there's so no plopping in the toilet here. It makes me want to quit cloth diapering sometimes, especially when I'm spraying off my 6th one of the day. Ugh.

Who's going to keep Maxton when you go back to work?

My MIL. Not ideal, and I wish she would keep him at my house (her house is disgusting), but it's better than day care.
