this is what my experience in travel has taught me: bring underwear, black shirts, and never dress like you'll be exercising (always dress chic). The only thing you'll ever truly need when traveling are your toothbrush (& contacts if you wear them). All else can be purchased as necessary. oh, and if you're coming to the tri-state area you'll need layers. There is several feet of snow continuously falling from the sky here.
