Hi! Yes, absolutely! I just posted a little movie...will try to get some Aussie pics up soon.

And thanks for asking. :)

Dude, you have basically decribed my professional career! Granted I have never asked for anything, but I have said outright what I would like, with no expectations. Fortunately, I have a good boss that makes things happen.

Of course, as I am typing this, Scout is literally in my face, "asking" for me to share my peanutbutter sandwhich. Ain't going to happen.

Well, yeah, pets are pushy, but only because they get they want more times than not! :D

Yes, exactly. And this is how it should work. :)

Great story, Amybabe! But I can't say I'm surprised that you asked for what you wanted. Or that you got it. :-)

Hee! Yes, I know this would come as no revelation to you, but I thought it was worth sharing, just because it's one of the most random examples of it that I can remember.

:)

I love stories like this, cause I'm usually the one asking for things that I want or need in the moment. And this totally reminded me of the time I told Quaggy that I really wanted a fountain to jump in... and 5 minutes later she had provided me with one! :D

I totally believe this. :D I think when you are as apt to ask for simple things--popsicles, fountains--people are more likely to try and give you the more complicated things as well.

Glad you liked my story, sweetie. :)

LOL. I do kinda give off that vibe don't I. :-P

But really, I'm amazed what can happen when I just ask politely for something simple that would make my day

And I'm just glad I've found people who just say "Awesome!" when I tell them I need to dress up as Batman that day...

I'm just glad I've found people
Of course, that's a big part of it, too, isn't it?...I wouldn't have made the same request if I'd been sitting in a corporate boardroom, for example.
