A gripping fic! So many painful parts. Luke really is a survivor (especially with Reid in his life). This fic will stay in my head all day now, and I mean that as a compliment. Thanks for the read!

Thank you. It's good to hear that people have enjoyed it. I was a bit "iffy" about my last few chapters feeling as if I just threw them together but I hope the read well. And the boys will always be survivors as long as they're together!!

You are quite welcome and thank you for taking the time to read it. It was emotional for me and I kind of remained detached through most of it. The part the almost had me in tears was when Luke was saying goodbye to Holden at the airport...I guess it just all got to me at the same time.

That was a very sad emotional story.they were certain parts where I lost it.I am happy that Luke ended up being the winner.he took a negative and turn it into a positive and made a good life for himself and his family.even tho this story was so sad I really did enjoy reading it.

Maybe too much angst? I was a little worried about that but I'm glad you still enjoyed it!!

Beautifully written, sad and gripping story of survival and finding happiness a second time.

To think that both Reid and Luke suffered as they did was enough to make me cry. Holden being so emotionally distraught that he handed over the twins also said a lot about his sad emotional state.

We all know that life is not always unicorns and rainbows, but still seek happiness in the end. This was a very moving and powerful read that showed how tragedy can change your whole direction in life. In this story, it lead Reid and Luke to their happy ending.

Thank you for such a wonderful story!

Even though it was hard to read in places this story had a very strong emotional core all the way through. This will be one I read again and again. Very good job

WOW!! It means so much to me that people are enjoying this story. I had greater plans for it...I was going to REALLY focus on their healing process at the reservation instead of just flying through it but it didn't come out that way. And I didn't intend for it to be so emotional, it was just how it flowed. Thanks for reading!!
