Sometimes Ahmed just does not have very good parenting sense... Last night Dahlia was crying herself into a puking fit so I put a basin under her mouth for her to puke into. Ahmed came in snd decided to try to distract her by THROWING HER IN THE AIR then putting her on his shoulders. She proceeded to vomit from a height of 6+ feet. So now instead

Hi and happy birthday! I think I began following you because of our shared interest in some scifi authors. But I just read most of your public entries from the start of your appearance on LJ. You write so well, and your story is very moving. You have accomplished a great desk, and it hasn't been easy for you. I wonder how you are faring in Egypt now, as your LJ entries have trickled to a halt. You say you are on FB but I couldn't find you there. Is your account for real-world friends only? Hi Eva! I just saw this comment here, your introduction on FB makes so much more sense now! I can't believe you read all of my posts, I used to write a LOT, haha. How long did it take you? I have thought about writing here again but I just don't seem to have the quiet time these days, with the kids, work and husband. It's always noisy, nowhere to collect my thoughts. Maybe I will try to do at least a weekly post. I do miss writing!
