If you wanted my opinion on the job thing i'd say go for it. Just because a company hasn't screwed you yet doesn't mean you should give them 100% loyalty.
How long if ever would it take for the company that you are currently working for to match what you are currently earning now? If you still work in CS a bump of 5k is a big difference in pay.
