Crap. I got pulled over this afternoon for a broken brake light. Of course, I somehow forgot to put my current insurance card in the glovebox too. I got a warning for the brake light and a citation for the insurance. Luckily, I won't have to pay the $250 ticket if I provide proof of insurance by Monday. Not a problem

LOL, I can relate!!! I got my 2nd speeding ticket after 15 yrs on our way to Baton Rouge LA a couple of weeks ago. Talk about humbling and yes it did slow me down.

It bites getting pulled over :(

I got pulled over ONCE for a taillight being out.
I had to take the car to the station within 24 hours with a new light...or pay the ticket.

When I went to the station after replacing the light they didn't even look at the car, they said "Ok" and took the ticket back.

????
