Well, living on the Gulf Coast can kind of suck sometimes. Another hurricane hit again! This time, my roommates and I rode out the storm in the comfort of our own apartment. Yeah right comfort... Who would have known I would be sitting here at my house in Lafayette on a Sunday night when we usually have school on Monday morning. Well not this week. In fact, no school Monday and Tuesday. I just got back from the Louisiana Junior Miss competition. It was so exciting. My friend Andrea was in it and she did a wonderful job. She came out 3rd runner up which is awesome! Well, I'm in Lafayette again. I had rehearsal for Acadian Wind Symphony tonight, so I came into Lafayette and I have to work tomorrow night at 6:00 in Baton Rouge so I'll be back for that. As you can see, I haven't kept up with my journal as well as I hoped. This summer is nonstop. I go between Lafayette and Baton Rouge at least twice a week. I am rehearsing for the Acadian Wind Symphony right now in Lafayette every Tuesday and Thursday nights, plus working here in Baton Rouge at the Olive Garden. It's not really that bad.
