Congrats on Nano win. It feels great, doesn't it?

I got my copy of SK's new book the other day. Enjoy the Dresden Files books and Kathy's books. They are both very good.

Glad your Thanksgiving went well. It does go by so fast.

Online shopping is the way to go.:)

Absolutely! Especially sites like Amazon with their free shipping - it definitely beats going out into the crowds.

Re: Stephen King - I finished the second story last night. I'm interested to read the section in the back where he talks about his inspiration, because that one had to have been written close to Duma Key. He must have a fascination with Florida Keys.

After reading Deadly Decisions, I got a question - does she end up in mortal danger in all of the books? And doesn't Fatal Voyage come after Deadly Decisions? If so, do they ever talk about how Ryan got out from undercover with the bikers?

Oh gosh, I thought they mentioned his undercover stint in the book after, but it's been such a long time since I've read it that I don't recall for sure.
Yes, Tempe gets in danger in most of the books. Not all of them are mortal danger, but she is a big-time risk-taker and asks questions that puts her in harm's way. (at least all of them that I've read...I need to start Monday Mourning)
The order of books:
Deja Dead, Death du Jour, Deadly Decisions, Fatal Voyage, Grave Secrets, Bare Bones, Monday Mourning, Cross Bones, Break No Bones, Bones to Ashes, & Devil Bones. I loved Deja Dead and Fatal Voyage, but they all bring something to the table.

Yes! Amazon.com is wonderful. I've done lots of shopping there.

Thank you! I've fallen behind in LJ reading again, so I hope you too had a great weekend (and that you got a break from working!)

50,026 words.

I'd be happy is my Mag7/BATB/AW fic would cough up a whole sentence. (Yeah, I know, I'm asking for a whole sentence while I'm trying to write Chris Larabee and Stringfellow Hawke.)

Black Friday in the single hours. I seriously fear for your sanity. They had a thing on FoxNews about people at Wal-Mart doing things like ripping the doors off, and knocking down pregnant women. PEOPLE! CIVILITY! Get you some!

What got me about the terror attacks is the reports that 'they' were going around looking for people with British/American passports. It's not like you can lie about that. I had to explain to my mother that Mumbai is what she's used to calling Bombay, and why it got changed back to Mumbai.

Glad to hear DH will be back for Christmas. Take pics of him making a total fool of himself playing Guitar Hero?

Yeah, it was probably insane, but for me running out to shop in the early hours of Black Friday is the second helping of dessert from Thanksgiving :)

But that news story out of Long Island in terrible. That's why I've never done the camping out to get the big ticket items. I'm happier being in the back of the line waiting for the crazies to get through first.

I'm sure there will be pictures taken. I also bought the Aerosmith pack yesterday so we'll have double the amount of tunes to choose from.

Congrats to NaNoWriMo! :)

Where exactly are you going to in Germany? Maybe I can give you some sightseeing tips.

Eric is stationed in Stuttgart, so we are starting there. We will be there for about four days, and on New Years Day we're traveling to Munich to spend the night. From there we're booked at the Edelweiss Lodge in Garmisch for three nights.

I would love any tips, as I've never been there. I'm disappointed that since we'll be there after Christmas, we're going to miss all the Christmas markets.

Garmisch is nice :) It's a skiing resort, so better pack really warm clothes. At Munich, make sure to try some Weißwurst and Leberkäs. The latter literally translates to liver cheese, but it does not contain liver or cheese. It's a tasty, kinda spicy sort of meat loaf. For the boys, if they do like sweets, buy Milka chocolate. It's the most popular here and it tastes good :) At Stuttgart, I think you definitely have to take them to the Mercedes-Benz-Museum or the POrsche-Museum if it open.

I can't tell you much more since I actually haven't been to Stuttgart myself, but this link could help you:

It's a shame that you're going to miss the christmas markets... but see it this way... you're not going to have to bring a spare suitcase for all the stuff you might have bought there.

Love the Ellen icon. Have you seen the trailer for the last BSG-episodes?
