Happy New Year!

So 2009 was a very eventful year for us, as evidenced by the fact that my last entry was in June.  We finally sold our house in October, and bought a new one in November.  It's a great house, lots of space and potential, but home improvement is going to be on our to-do list for the foreseeable future.  But since Eric shouldn't be spending any ( Read more... )

Glad that you got the new house and are settling in. Glad as well that you have the prospect of having Eric around for the foreseeable future. Sympathies for your grandfather's passing -- these things remain difficult, don't they?

They do - especially in the early months as you go through a lot of firsts without the loved one. His birthday was also in December, so there were several times the last few weeks that the grief reappeared.

I'm glad to hear you are all right and have just been busy. I've been wondering about you. I'm glad the selling and buying of the house has been completed. It can be stressful but like you said, you now have the house you want. Yay.

Your #38 is spot on.

Happy New Year, Amy.

Thank you! It was good too to see you pop up on the Skeleton group. I've missed you in the Joe world (not that I've been active at all either - *sigh* it would just be nice if LJ can appear in any of the new canons)

Yay! She's back! Missed you! *Huggles*

Eric bought a Focus ... excuse me, I have to giggle. Elise's first car was an 03 Focus, and she cannot wait for the day she can get rid of it. It was okay when it was just her, but now that it's her and Celeste, they've outgrown it.

Her dream replacement is a Sport Trac. Yeah, and I want a Mustang GT Premium, too!

Sorry no Christmas card. I bought some, but I just got so bummed about not being able to see Celeste since August (Ilovemysister Ilovemysister Ilovemysister) that I never sent any. Maybe I'll do it in July or August for a joke.

Thanks for the welcome back! And no worries about the Christmas card - as you noticed I was pretty slack about getting cards out this year as well.

I did notice that the back seat of the Focus was a little...cozy. But since I have a minivan to accommodate the kids, friends and family, the Focus is going to be more for Eric to be zipping around in on his own.
