just a head up to the LJ world... amyk.nu is here for now... but will most likely be gone early next year. i just paid for 3 more months, so that takes me to december, at which point i'll probably take it down to the smallest host package available and close it down after the next three months - so we're looking at march of 2007

It's like the end of an era! *sniff* Man..I've been around since just after the beginning and I'm sad to see it go..but I completely understand. Thank you for graciously hosting the FAP hun and thank you for being there to begin with to be my first step in not only the Nsync fandom but the start of online life. *hugs* You are truly wonderful.

it is an end to an era *sniff* and you HAVE been there right from the start :) you had FAP on amyk.nu from about the second month on! :)

i'll be sad to see it go too. i like having my stories accessible from anywhere in the world i may travel... but the reality is that its an expense that i just cant justify right now. :(

The site will be missed. If you need help archiving for download (which I know your fans will want to do) Just let me know. I still have access to the server even though I haven't done so in a long time.

I think I'll do that with the FAP stuff as well.

archiving for download - you mean i could have a link to download a whole story or something? for the readers? or archiving for myself?

i'd love to be able to make it easier for readers to save the stories they want, but im not sure how to go about doing that... any advice would be very welcome!

of course! please do! the easiest way is (sadly) chapter by chapter. go to the main page for the story where the chapter links are, right click on the chapter link and choose "save target as" - i have the actual chapter page right-click disabled and i dont know how to get that off. LOL

or of course i can send you the html files. *shrug* :) whatever you want!

OMG, I may actually cry a little! I remember reading your stories and making you print them out and send them to me! Agh! I mean, I guess everything ends sooner or later, but it still makes me a little sad. I went back the other day and read Truth or Dare because I've been reading the NSync stuff off my rec page and it made me giggle a bit and sniffle fondly because I miss the days when everyone still loved NSync and they were still together.

You can reread your own stuff? Every time I try to do that I cringe and want to do a massive rewrite. I applaud you! :)

Anywho, yes, I still have the wistful "I love them" feelings, but I don't love them RIGHT NOW, because they're all apart and doing different things. I do get all giggly when I hear about them together. Or like when L*nce said that Joey was the first to find out and didn't tell the other guys. :)

Aw. Sad. I just went back and re- read part of the Kyle trilogy. Remember when we were all in NYC and were plotting on killing Kyle of fin a subway?

Or, well, I was plotting. Why was I killing Kyle off? Was it to keep him away from evil Lori? Or so I could have more time with JC? Huh. Can't remember.
