Delivery is essential to everything; challenging people is even more critical to survival :D I like this poem even more after rereading the title. When one of the characters says that "Knowledge is death," she could mean so many things. Do we waste away our lives (and youth) in books about irrelevant facts? Or do we become liabilities as we learn more and thus challenge more (hopefully)? This poem and that particular line does make me ponder, so it is definitely efficient in its delivery. I enjoy that the character smirks; it reminds me of myself. I will be regretting the smirks when the smirk lines settle in my face and I look like I'm perpetually smirking. They always warn us, too: watch out, or your face will get stuck like that. My face is beginning to stick as I continue to contemplate.

Hey Amy, Sometimes I do feel like knowledge can make the end of your demise. If you feel like you have the most knowledge compared to regular, everyday people, then you may feel superior to them, thus creating a rift between you and people “beneath” you. I feel have knowledge is great, though allowing it to prevent you from learning from people, because of your pride- well that’s the death I speak of (death of your soul). Shali.
