OK. To this point I have stayed out of the scrotum debacle, because scrotum is a medical term, it's part of the male body, and for cryin' out loud, why the hell is the whole thing getting blown so wildly out of proportion

I find she's very out of place on that panel. Yes, she does have a different viewpoint to offer, but most of the time when she opens her mouth, I can't help but feel embarrassed for her and angered by her.
I honestly should avoid flipping to that show when I'm bored.
Well, she gave some examples. One book mentioned a father, who was grumpy, as usual. Not so nice. Grumpy dad had to go. And Babar's mother got killed. Babar also married his elephant cousin. I forget the other book she read from.
I'm all for moms having a say in what gets read at home. The thing I really don't understand is, why does she feel the need to damage a book? Like you said, Grace is a toddler. She can't read!!! Her mom could let her look at the pictures and make up her own story, or skip some words, or save the book until she's a little older. Or she could choose to not read the book at all. She has so many choices, yet went with one that shows her child that it's okay to ruin books.
Every time I think I can handle having The View on in the background while I'm at the computer, Elizabeth says something that sets my teeth on edge. Every time. I swear, I was in a blind rage for days after she called The Dixie Chicks traitors. Now this book thing has put me off the show for good.
