1. My husband got me a beautiful bike for my birthday. Yesterday, I rode for two hours, downtown to say hello to him at work and then home again. I can't believe I'm posting a camera-held-at-arm's-length photo, in which I'm wearing no makeup (unheard of! this is a one time only thing!).

Thanks! My birthday is next week, but I'm glad he got my the bike early. I've been out on it at least half a dozen times so far. Love it!

You don't need makeup! You're gorgeous! :) I think this is the first time I've seen a photo of you? YAY for your new bike! Any chance you'll bike over here so we can have our girls in the city day! hehe

Yes I do! But it's still at my mom's. I need to bring it back here (cuz it's taking up room there),but I won't get to use it here. There's no place for a cruiser on these streets! *sigh*

What a bummer that you won't be able to ride your bike at the new place!

I really like that the book takes place in the '60s. It's a time period I never got to experience and wish I had! ;-)

I've heard high school goes by so quickly. I'm worried! And my 7th grader went grad dress shopping with us, and she was already picking out the kind of prom dress she wants. Urgh....

Hope Chelsea had a great time at her prom!
