Books!

Oct 23, 2007 10:18

I love when a big box of books arrives at my door. In today's box:

Mistik Lake, by Martha Brooks.
Thirteen Reasons Why, by Jay Asher

*and*

Lessons from a Dead Girl, by Jo Knowles/jbknowles :)

I mailed off the latest revision of my spy novel, Violins of Autumn, last week, and I can't think of a better way to spend my break than by reading these books!

I was so excited to rip open the box and see your book inside, Jo! :)

Thanks for the congrats. That latest revision was tough. I'm very relieved to be done (well, done for now!).

Usually I'd feel guilty about ordering more than two books at once, but I couldn't remove a single title from that group. I had to have them all. Can't wait to get reading!

Thanks, I'm SO glad to have the revisions mailed off!

Thanks, Melissa! Violins of Autumn was suggested to me by my agent. It was one of the code phrases broadcasted to the French Resistance by the BBC to let them know that D-Day was imminent. I am brutally bad with titles, so I hope that one sticks. I'd hate to have to think of something different!

Good luck on your revision. It's hard work (but also kind of fun)...
