1. Today is a PD Day. I had insomnia the other night until 5 a.m., so I really wanted to catch up on sleep this morning. My husband, who is out of town, called me at 8:15. He let the phone ring five times, suddenly remembered that today is a day off school, and hung up at the same time I picked up

Hell's Kitchen got off to a good start. You can already see who's going to create friction and who has real talent in the kitchen.

Did you see that actor Mike White and his dad are competing on the upcoming Amazing Race that starts Feb. 15th?? He wrote a couple Freaks and Geeks episodes and played Kim Kelly's brother who lies around on the couch all day.

My dog is pretty vocal, too. But she's smart enough to not talk to me between five and seven a.m.... unlike my bratty cat. haha
