Thanks for the update. I'm sure they told you, but nausea is very common after anesthetic. I know that it was quite a while before J felt like eating anything after his knee surgery (he was under general for that). I hope they keep a close eye on the fever to make sure he didn't pick up an infection.
And nurses are wonderful people and sorely unappreciated much of the time. My mom has been a nurse for almost her whole adult life and goodness knows I have heard what they have to do day in and day out and how some of the doctors don't respect them. I know I had great nurses when recovering the c-section. Very patient and nice about getting water for me and the baby and taking her back to the nursery so I could shuffle down the hall and everything else.
Yes, they did tell me. ALthough, Brendan's is also from the secretions he gets. Earlier he had a seizure and it made him start coughing which in turn made him vomit. But he's resting comfortably now.
And I completely agree. Nurses are terrific. Brendan's home health nurse is like part of the family.
Aw, poor thing. Hopefully he'll improve more and more with every new day he gets between himself and the surgery. *hugs*
Thanks so much for the update! Take care of yourself, sweetie! (And I'm so glad you have a lot of options to keep yourself occupied. It makes you even more tired if you're having to just sit there staring at the wall, in my experience. :( ;) )
You're all still in my thoughts and prayers! *many hugs* ♥♥♥!!!

Thanks so much. Things are alright. He's getting better. We're still in the hospital but he's getting better all the time. We're hoping to be home in a few days.
