Rain is raining all around
it fall on field and tree. It falls on umbrella here and on the ships at sea.
It was a lovely rainy, grey day and it would have been perfect for laying around, watching movies and reading.
My mom was still here. Ian's friend called and requested a play date and my mom told him he could go. But of course there wasn't enough time to do anything while he was out and my mom hates to go out in the rain. So we sat around and watched the Food Network. I don't know what else there was to do - there wasn't time to get anywhere for a movie or lunch or something. She was sad because it will be 6 weeks or so until we see her, but I'm kind of ok with that. I love her but it's so much work.
I always feel like I've disappointed her somehow. She wanted to go out for brunch very badly but Ian wouldn't go. Then he goes to see his friend and I'm not much in the way of entertainment. I never know what the right thing is with her. She makes me so tired because I constantly feel that there is something I should be doing to make her happy and I never seem to accomplish it. I really wish I could.
Going to try for a nice night tho. Ian goes to bed in 1/2 hour. I'm going to color my hair, drink a beer and read.
