I've found the ultimate cultural divide between my son and I. He doesn't know who Bugs Bunny is. No idea, and no real interest to find out. He said something to me yesterday that for some reason (I don't remember why) prompted a rousing rendition of "Kill the Wabbit!" and all I get is a blank stare. It was a very sad moment.
So life if going. Nothing much exciting. Work is ok, busy today. I'm taking Wed off (well "working from home") so that I can spend the afternoon with Ian since he'll be sleeping at Jen's Wed and Thurs b/c of this big meeting I have to go to. I humbled myself and asked Irene about the cost of the hotel room and she offered to put it on her corp card which is great because I'm so broke. Which is a shame because I saw so many new clothes I wanted to buy when I was at the mall on Sat. Of course I've lost some weight - only in my waist so nothing fits well. I'm not asking for alot, I'd just like to be a size 10, I don't see that happening tho - for 10 years I;ve had the same size hips and ass and no amount of exercise or dieting seems to fix that. Well, I don't know about the dieting. I'm not big on self-denial. It's not like I over-eat but I do have a special place in my heart (and hips) for carbs. I have the utmost respect for those people who can go atkins, but I can't imagine ever being so unhappy with my body that I give up bread and pasta.
