In the beginning, I was trying to write Harry as a young, early-twentieth-century Professor Yana. I'm still writing the "after" part, and all I'll say is, it's a lot of fun!

I found it beautifully ironic that the Master is the one that's happy as a human, while the Doctor's miserable.
Harry looked across at him once more, and the immediate impression was one of quiet, but deep, unhappiness. Beautiful bit of characterisation, and that it's harry noticing - even better. *hugs John*
Loved John's instant almost-recognition of Harry. Adored Harry. Generally gleeful about the whole chapter - it was fantastic!

Thanks!

I'm trying hard to be true to the time period, but sometimes that means not a lot happening, or things happening very slowly. And it's going to result in a lot of tiresome nonsense in Chapter Five, unfortunately. But authentic nonsense, hopefully.
Training was a breeze tonight. Watched a video, discussed snacks, and came home. It doesn't feel like a Wednesday unless I'm in a foul mood, so now I'm all out of sync.
But yes, generally boring day tempered by knowledge of TW tonight. Knackered, though. Must ... stay ... awake!
