John must have fallen asleep at some point in the night, because the sharp beams of sunlight cutting through his curtains in the early morning woke him abruptly. The confusion that had been puzzling him during the night was gone, taking the strange ideas with it, leaving him with the reality of mundane, wonderful everyday life.

I figured the John we knew would definitely freak out in this situation, and if they were both being totally neurotic and twitchy nothing would happen and it would be boring. So Harry has to be a little calmer.

The next one was a little harder. Angst? Not at first. We know it's coming, but they don't, which is sweet. Some lovely cute moments together. Yes, there will be trouble at the end, but perhaps not as angsty as it could be.
You can judge for yourself, it'll be up tomorrow. Hopefully in the morning, but possibly in the afternoon. Got a ton of stuff to do, and I'm already flagging.

You can leave your fingers in your ears and keep singing for a little while longer. And the doom! in the next chapter isn't completely awful. It's ... oh, you'll see. I'm going to post it now.
