Everyone’s gone, now. It’s quiet, so quiet. The Doctor faces the empty Tardis and only wishes it were for the first time.

Sarah Jane was right. He might be lonely, but he’s not alone. When it counts - when it really counts - he can call on some of the best, most brilliant people in the world. Today, if nothing else, has taught him that. But what of ( Read more... )

I love this :)

Thanks!

And really, whatever I may think of Martha and Mickey apparently joining TW, it helps in a way. Not only because we know who and what we're supposed to be writing about, but because it means Jack and Ianto can disappear with the Doctor without having to leave Gwen on her own in the Hub.

No-one seems to believe that I didn't intend a sequel. But yeah, I'm starting to lean that way. Watch this space.

Thanks!

So glad someone else noticed Jack was being friendly rather than flirty.
Great fic, thanks.

I thought it was very striking (especially in an episode where you had to take what little Janto was offered to you).

Thanks!

I definitely noticed that Jack was NOT being flirty, I thought it was very obvious. I mean Donna practically threw herself at him - MORE THAN ONCE. He pretty much ignored her until the end and even then everyone was just hugging and being happy and he went with it.

This was a great fic....I would love a sequel if you do it, otherwise, I'll look forward to your next one.

Yes, it seemed obvious to me, too.

Don't tell me that's not down to Ianto!
