How to contact a blogger on Blogspot?

So far I have had zero luck on my search for anyone who has ever read a career romance novel that was not Cherry Ames or Sue Barton!

Well, not quite zero luck. I have found three different blogs, all on blogger/blogspot, by women who have sporadically reviewed some of the books I'm interested in. But I can find no option to contact these ( Read more... )

My brother has an old blogspot page and on it he has a 'View my complete profile' link and then on his profile page, is a box titled Contact and under this is an e-mail link. His is the only blogspot page I've seen. If it helps at all to see what I'm talking about, it's here.

If there's no way to view their profile or there's no contact info posted there, I guess they don't want people contacting them - which seems a bit strange if they're going to the trouble of putting stuff out there for people. Perhaps they're worried about the authors coming back to them ... ;)

Read a lot of romance and young adult books when young, but I could never get into the career romances. This was the 1960s and even then, they seemed so 1950s and too dated for me back then.

Plus - I never had the calling to be a nurse and they seemed to be "nurse" books. I wanted to go into the medical profession as a kid, but as a DOCTOR. LOL. Ahead of my time, I guess.

Have you tried an adult romance reader email list? Some of the women who read romance now might have started with career romance books.

Good idea re: the romance reader e-mail list. I'll check around. :-)

Believe it or not, I believe I have a career romance about a woman doctor from the 1930s! Although I'd have to double-check to be 100% sure.... Of the two series I collect, which consist of many standalone books, nurses are less than 10% of the books -- they covered tons of different professions.

But yes, even the non-nurse ones were, shall we say, very much a product of their times!
