i have been fighting a major urge for the last hour or so to drop everything i am doing and start learning korean. there is no reason for this. im not sure how i would go about learning korean, although im sure there is online stuff and i know there is a korean guy around here somewhere. and why korean? why not spanish, or afrikaans, or pig latin

You should go to Korea to teach after uni. Or defer before uni finishes and go Au Pairing for some rich American family in Korea. I plan on doing one or the other, but in Japan, so you can give me tips and ... I can tell you not very much at all about Korea! Win win ... yet not!

OH yeah, and on the irrepressible urges to study something less than everyday. I sometimes have whole days of wanting to go and learn some Russian, or Romanian. I think it has something to do with the fact that French is now one of my household languages - you just sound like a n00b when you try to make it sound sexy and sophisticated when speaking to a native because they're always one step ahead.
