Hey look it's a new year
Ultra-obvious New Year's Resolution: update lj more.
The Enzian (local independent theater-cafe of joy/happiness) hosted a James Bond-themed New Year's Eve party. Dress to Kill, naturally. I went with my boyfriend Adam and Erin and Sean came along too:
Erin and I both got our dresses at the Goodwill Boutique in Winter Park. Mine is a vintage Ted Lapidus circa 1970--it's AMAZING. $23. Erin's is from Cache ($30) and was perfect for the party. We had such a good time. Didn't drink much (they had plenty of Bond-themed drink specials, all involving gin and vermouth and whiskey and non-girly things, except one called Diamonds are Forever, which was rum and sugar and lime juice, now we're talking) but danced plenty and regretted not knowing more about the early Bond films in order to fully appreciate the costume contest. Good times.
I dunno about you, but I am expecting big things from 2010. Let's do this.
