1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Was unemployed for a long time. Consistently neglected my Livejournal. Went out to clubs downtown. Learned how to make jewelry.
2. Did you keep your New Year’s Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I kept some of them... But the most important one that I broke was traveling more. I never made it to New York, and I never even made it to Atlanta. I really want to go to the aquarium and see the whale sharks, you guys. It's gonna happen this year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, which is probably for the best at this point, lol.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thankfully. But there sure were a lot of celebrity deaths, weren't there?
5. What countries did you visit?
...The only trip I took was to Chicago.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
I think I covered this in the above statements already! More travel! MORE WHALE SHARKS.
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
My birthday celebration in 2009 was nice--Disney with Lori. September 25th was opening night at Halloween Horror Nights. October 9th was the U2/Muse show. The rest of the dates I can remember are just concert dates, hmm. (Oh, wait, Twilight came out on November 19th. LOL. Comedy of the year, as usual.)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Learning how to make jewelry has been fun and pretty rewarding. I plan on making and selling it this year for Christmas.
9. What was your biggest failure?
...Not getting my AA. Still. Whatevs.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, nothing significant.
11. What was the best thing someone bought you?
I got a lot of nice Christmas gifts. I LOVE the shoes from H&M that Lori got me!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Um... I dunno...
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Tyler's boyfriend JJ was kind of a jerk most of the time but they broke up and things are better. :D
14. Where did most of your money go?
Where DIDN'T it go? Theme parks. Concerts. Sushi. Sangria. Movies.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The big events this year concert-wise were Green Day, Lollapalooza, Blink 182 and U2. I was plenty excited about all of them!
16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
Anything by Lady Gaga!
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Eh. Sadder, I guess.
b) fatter or skinner? Pretty much the same!
c) richer or poorer? Poorer, lol.

TRAVEL, OKAY

Being unemployed!
20. How do you plan to spend Christmas?
Um. I spent it at the river and it was very nice. Christmas Eve was spent at Carli's and it was THE BEST EVER as always. :D
21. Did you fall in love in 2009?
I'd say so!

None, lol.
23. What was your favorite TV program?
I really loved Dollhouse and I'm so sad there's only one more episode before it is gone FOREVER. I also ended up really liking Chuck. Glee was pretty good for the most part and the Office is always funny. And I love Gossip Girl. Don't judge me.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
No. I don't hate anyone.
25. What was the best book you read?
"I am Charlotte Simmons" by Tom Wolfe.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
WEIRD STORY TIME. All throughout the summer at clubs and at Lollapalooza Erin and I kept hearing a techno song that sounded like angry bees. VERY angry bees. But how do you look up a techno song? It has no lyrics! Eventually Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" came out and someone on Facebook pointed out that it sounds a little like she sampled the Bloody Beetroots. So that is how I discovered Warp 1.9 by the Bloody Beetroots. Listen to it and picture angry bees dancing around. I dunno. Erin and I are strange sometimes.
27. What did you want and get?
I wanted to go to Halloween Horror Nights and the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. Got to do both things. Also got both pieces I wanted from Target's Rodarte collection. They're fabulous.
28. What did you want and not get?
I kind of really wanted H&M's Jimmy Choo collection to come to the Florida store... But I wouldn't have been able to afford it anyway. :P
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
TWILIGHT, HURRR. Um. I adored "500 Days of Summer." I did like "Avatar," but it didn't change my life the way I'd been told it would. I also enjoyed "The Princess and the Frog!"
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
As mentioned earlier, I went to Disney! I was 23.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A better job, probably.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
I wear stuff I like that looks good on me. Target, H&M and sometimes Forever 21. I think honestly the item I got the most enjoyment out of was a pair of $30 heels from F21 that were perfect knockoffs of the $400 Gwen Stefani LAMB ones. I bought them because one of the characters in Dollhouse kicked a lot of ass while wearing them. :3

Oh my. Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick. Joseph Gordon Levitt. Dichen Lachman and Fran Kranz. Lady Gaga. Taylor Lautner (DON'T JUDGE ME). Gerard Way. William Beckett. Summer Glau. There's a pretty long list...
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
I don't get too involved with politics.
36. Who do you miss?
R, L, P, and N, mostly.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
I guess I didn't technically meet him last year, but Adam is pretty awesome.
38. What was the best thing you ate?
Oh, geez. I don't know how I could pick. Loved the frozen yogurt at Berry Chill in Chicago. Loved the Columbia. Loved the flan at the Enzian (they don't have it anymore, sigh).
