Right now I am writing a paper about women in Iraq and I just can't stop reading. I feel so weak. So hopeless. All I can say is "Fuck this war." Why is it that so many of us are against this and yet nothing is changing. We have ruined that country, shred it to pieces. And we talk about the deaths in numbers like it is some conceptual bullshit

We can say "fuck this war" all we like, we (and by "we" I mean the GOP) owe it to the Iraqi people to come up with a successful exit strategy, at the very least. Now, keep in mind that, just because one drives a fancy car does not make one a bastard.
