It is very odd being back in work after two weeks off due to illness and the first aid course. I have been back in the office since Monday but it is still a little weird - like going back to school/uni after the long summer break. We went to the seaside yesterday!! We went to west wittering bay which is on the south coast in West Sussex (just along the coast from Chichester Harbour). I got a pay rise today!! I am sooo excited - I was hoping for a small pay rise as Nina mentioned one in my appraisal at the end of March, but when I got my pay slip this morning I got a fantastic surprise!! My wages have gone up to from 11,000 to 12,000 pounds per year!! For 27.5 hours a week I am pretty damn pleased with that.

Bah! I have an ear canal infection - Grumble, grumble, grumble. I am very unimpressed indeed. I am not ill enough to be off work, but my ear hurts loads, and I am really tired as everytime I rolled onto my left side the pain woke me up. Grr.

This saturday was supposed to the the first proper session of the counselling course at No.5. However I had to pull out last week. As a result I am very sad indeed.
