I don't know about the rest of you, but I've had enough of martial arts for a while.

You're supervising us yourself? And the girls?

Do you really think the school board would let me take all of that on? I'm certain I'm capable, but we'll be lucky if we can get them to accept both Hayashi-san and I as advisors of our respective teams.

Well, you know, you didn't actually say what your plan was, in your post.

Wouldn't put it past you, anyway.

I suppose I didn't state it explicitly, at that.

Of course you wouldn't; you know I could do it.

You practice martial arts?

All of Higa's tennis team does, actually.

Now that's something I could hardly incorporate into Rikkaidai's training.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you practice, exactly?

All of the current regulars had extensive background in the art; it was only natural to incorporate it into our tennis. It's worked out rather well.

We're all trained in karate, most from childhood, and I'm personally also trained in kobudou.

Capable enough, if it comes down to it. Question is whether the team thinks the same.

But as a matter of fact, I'd rather not have to do that, Eishirou.

I'm afraid very little will be up for debate, if we're pushed this far.

I may have to resign as captain in order to step up as advisor. If it's the only way, I'll do it, and I expect you to take up the reins, Yuujirou.

There is something to be said for variety.

... Huh. One would think with National level players in at least one of the clubs, they wouldn't be too hard to convince.

Hear, hear.

National level players don't necessarily make for competent coaches. I have to admit, I can see the reason in denying us, but that doesn't mean that I will be denied.
