i'm having such a lovely time.

Today we visited with my grandparent's oldest friend and had a wonderful, very German meal. i ate spaetzle like it was my birthright. As a new development, i can no longer eat meat or sweets.
We hummed to holiday songs home in the car. It was dark by 5:30 so i sang in the shower and then wrote a few emails and made

For Christmas Eve dinner we're having katoffle salat, rotkohl, and wurstchen (aber nicht fur mich, naturlich).
