Relaxed and reclining...

Ohhh, what a peaceful weekend. Yesterday I did absolutely nothing, my lethargic day of relaxation interrupted only by a surprise visit by my mother's best friend Tiffany (a pleasant one, too; lethargy loves company!). Anyway, I didn't know she was coming, and she didn't arrive until late-ish (like 9 PM), so when she did come, I was sitting cross- ( Read more... )

I do remember picking up a book on the Zodiac stuff a few years back, and I really don't recall it being freakishly dramatic. Yes, it was kind of freaky (The dude killed in broad daylight, no idea why), but I'm not sure how well it'll function as a movie. I might have to go take a peek for myself just to get the idea.

BUT ANYWAYS, I'll need to let you read this Illumination accompaniment story at some point or another... there is a pretty fun hallucination sequence involving faceless people and the River Seine filled with blood. =P

Haha, yeah. And this is a sixty year old couple cruising down rivers full of crocodiles and running through jungles and stuff. Talk about forever young. I was talking to my grandfather, and just to make conversation, I was like, "You think you're gonna have fun on your jungle expedition, Poppa?" And he's like, "I'm sure most of my time will be spent trying to keep your Nana out of jail, but as long as I can accomplish that, I'm sure I'll have some fun on the side."

XD He was kidding, of course. (I love my grandparents.)

A hot Aussie soccer coach? Score! Ten years older is NOTHING! lol.

I have no desire to see The Number 23, but knowing how much you love Law and Order, you will love Zodiac.

That's interesting you mentioned that SVU episode, because I don't think I've seen it either. Remind me...why did the judge hate Casey?

He was an arrogant SOB who "didn't like young DAs who thought they knew more about the law than he did," in the words of Marlo Thomas's character (♥ for Marlo). It was a good episode, though, even though it did elicit some verbal TV abuse.

And regarding The Number 23, I'm not so interested either, as far as the plot goes. But I'm curious to see if Jim Carey can do drama, and I like hanging out with Tiffany, so I'll go anyway. XD

Have you seen Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? He can do drama with the right movie.

Ohhh, no, you're right; I haven't seen that one. I'm not a big fan of his...I've only seen his comedies, and his style of comedy makes me roll my eyes. But I'll put that movie on my To Watch list. :)
