Band Aid 20 a load of drivel?

Okay I don't want to turn this into some internet forum where there are a bunch of idoits who think what they say is fact, but why do people find the new band aid single hysterically bad? I thought it was listenable enough......People should buy it because its for a good cause, and yes if you don't like it and rather not own it in your CD ( Read more... )

Half the money they raise is going to go to cover the recording studio, the artists pay for appearing on the track. Another quarter of it will then go to the record company, for releasing the single. A quarter of what is left will probably go towards advertising the bloody thing, then whatever little scraps are left of the money raised, will go to the charity. Thats how fucked up the world is today, Andrew. Don't think it's just for a cause, because most of the money goes towards the pre-production, and post, of the record.

It would be much better if we took the cost of the single and donated it straight to live aid. No strings attatched, no hidden "people" to take away chunks of it. The whole cost goes straight to the charity. *That* is a much better idea.

When the first one came out, it was more about the charity. And, where have they been from then until now? Hm? If the problem is SO bad, and it hasn't changed, then why hasn't something been done prior to this?

My two cents... -_-

Ouh, another thing! Go around as many people as you can, and ask them about the ... not "old" but "original" record, and ask if they prefer that one to the new one. The majority will tell you it is better. It is no way in hell dated, I listened to them both one after the other, and the ORIGINAL is one hundred times better.

Sod the new generation of music! It's a well known fact that older bands are one hulluva lot popular than new ones! Take Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, U2, and Queen. They are "old" and yet have fans from the new generation. If they're so dated, then why do people love them much more than new music?

My other two cents ^^;
