This year's Wimbledon was awesome for so many reasons.

Roger Federer won his 15th Grand Slam, Novak didn't have an early exit as almost everybody thought, Ivo Karlovic did a weird dance, Andy Roddick reached another Grand Slam final and played like old times, Jamie Murray reached the mixed doubles semifinals, Andy Murray didn't win, Stan won me ( Read more... )

Yeah!! Tennis, really liked this Wimbledon,... I think Stan should have won the match agaisnt Andy,both deserve it... the final not as spectacular as last year but it had its moments... yeah for Roger Federer winning his 15th slam

I feel the same way about Stani, I was rooting for him (with almost everyone at ontd_tennis) and I was so sad when he lost...

And I liked this year's final. I think Andy proved he still has what it takes to win a big one even when everyone thought the match was ending in three sets. Anyway, as you said, it has its moments :)

I would have given many things for Andy to win this year. He was amazing. Damn you Roger Federer (in a loving way).

This year I became a Lleyton Hewitt fan. Which was a big surprise. Gilles Simon was a bit disappointing.

I feel exactly the same way about Andy, I really really really wanted him to win. He played over his limits and that's quite impressive, but I'm also happy for Roger. I think RAndy's time is going to come, he's clearly taking steps in the right direction and he's capable of winning a big one.

Lleyton played great too, I was quite shocked when he left Delpo out. ESPNla said the reason behind it was Delpo being a huge fan of Lleyton and stuff like that, but I think they were overreacting.

And Gilles is one of my favorites, I'm really scared for him 'cause he defends lots of points on the hard court season and his game seems to have lost its shine. I'll be rooting for him, anyway.
